Transfer Orientation 2008 is a three-day, two-night program designed to address the unique circumstances, both social and academic, of new students who have already had some experience with college life.
At your Orientation Session, you will be assigned an academic advisor who will help you to determine the courses you will need to fulfill University degree requirements. You will also register for courses for the coming semester.
In addition, you will have a chance to gather with other students, faculty, and administrators to learn about the many activities and resources available to you at the University. You will meet with present Boston College students who have transferred from other institutions and with Orientation Leaders, who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
During Transfer Orientation transfer students will live on-campus in University housing. This offers a good opportunity to meet and socialize with other new transfer students.
All transfer students must participate in Transfer Orientation.
