During the Orientation program, the forums for discussion are designed in a more interactive format with the assistance of carefully selected and trained Orientation Leaders who are upper class students and peers. The components of the program are developed to inculturate spirit about Boston College and an acquaintance with the University's values and its expectations for its students.

The Office of First Year Experience is looking for highly motivated and qualified students who are interested in becoming Orientation Leaders. This is an opportunity for you to learn, serve, and grow by working with faculty, staff, incoming students and their families as Boston College welcomes the next incoming class. The benefits include: leadership training, free housing for the summer, and a generous stipend for training and each Orientation session. Each spring, First Year Experience offers several information sessions where you can find out how to become an Orientation Leader and obtain an application.
