BC3 - Campus & Culture Council

Applications for 2011-2012 are now closed.

Are you interested in meeting new friends and discussing life at BC and beyond?

Do you want to participate on the Gulf Coast Service trip?

Apply for this unique leadership opportunity!!

What is BC3?

BC3 is a group of students that meet weekly for the year to discuss life at BC, make friends outside their social circle, and participate in a service trip. The meetings are two hours and range from having dinner together to discussing topics about BC culture, prepping for the service trip, and planning various campus events.

What are the benefits?

You’ll have a great group of friends in different circles and have a space to talk about what's going on in your week and in your life.  Plus, you have the unique opportunity to travel to the Gulf Coast to immerse yourself in a new community on a service trip.

Who can be a BC3 member?

BC3 is open to all sophomores and juniors who will be available for the entire academic year. All Council members must be available to attend the Gulf Coast service trip, from January 8-14th, 2012.

Since we are a part of the Center for Student Formation that oversees Halftime, we are looking for students who have already attended Halftime or would be able to attend Halftime in the coming year.

What is the time commitment?

Responsibilities include 2-hour weekly meetings, an overnight retreat, and attendance in the Gulf Coast Service trip during winter break in January. The overnight retreat is Friday, October 21st to Saturday, October 22nd.

We are looking for people to commit to the group for the whole year, so please only apply if you will be on campus for the entire year and are able to attend the service trip from January 8th-14th.
