Fall Heat Start-Up Schedule

Depending on weather, schedule is subject to change.
The heating season is fast approaching and the mechanical shop has been preparing the necessary systems for the upcoming season. Our schedule is weather dependant, but we are making every effort to keep the campus comfortable in this ever-changing New England climate.
Residence Halls:
Heat will be available in the Residence Buildings as of October 21, 2011, once the outside air temperature is below 55 degrees:
Upper and Newton Campus Residence Halls, Walsh Hall (excluding the 7th & 8th floor lounges and the Dining Hall), Greycliff Hall, Ignacio & Rubenstein Halls (have individual heating/cooling units), Modular Housing (heating/cooling available at thermostat), Gabelli Hall, 90 St. Thomas More Rd., Vouté Hall, Edmonds Hall, Vanderslice Hall, 66 Comm. Ave., 110 St. Thomas More, Alumni House, 19 Mayflower Rd., 30 Quincy Rd., 130 Beacon St.
Academic & Administrative Buildings and Houses:
The following buildings will be converted to heat, during the week of October 24, 2011:
Academic/Administrative Houses, Maloney Hall, Lyons Hall, Southwell Hall, Barat House, Stuart Hall, Fulton Hall, Kenny-Cottle Library, Trinity Chapel, Law Library, Quonset Hut, McElroy Commons, Alumni Stadium, Cushing Hall, Gasson Hall, Carney Hall, Campion Hall, Yawkey Center, St. Mary’s Hall, 129 Lake St., 117 Lake St., Corcoran Commons, Merkert Center, Conte Forum, Higgins Hall, O'Neill Library, Bapst Library, McGuinn Hall, Robsham Theater, Devlin Hall, Service Building, St. Thomas More Hall, 127 Lake St., 2101 Comm. Ave., St. Clement’s Hall, Brighton Dance Studio, Newton Warehouse.
