Welcome to the Office of Environmental Health and Safety at Boston College.
Boston College is committed to providing a safe and healthy campus environment. Among its highest priorities are the health and safety of all faculty, staff, and students, the visiting public, and members of the neighboring community. In support of its commitment, the University has established an Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within the Facilities Management Division in order to implement environmental and occupational health and safety programs and to ensure compliance with all relevant governmental laws and regulations.

Services & Resources
BC's environmental programs address both compliance with regulations and improving environmental protection performance.
Information regarding the management of regulated hazardous wastes such as chemicals, oils, paints and paint thinners, pesticides, and cleaners. Also includes information regarding the disposal of biohazard and sharps wastes, photographic wastes, gas cylinders, and recyclable wastes such as batteries and electronic equipment
