The Trustee Investment and Endowment Committee has fiduciary responsibility for overall investment policy, asset allocation, and the selection and deployment of assets to a diversified roster of professional investment managers. The University endowment is invested through the use of outside specialist managers employing a broad range of strategies across multiple asset classes. The Committee is comprised of ten members who meet at least four times per year.
The University Treasurer’s Office acts as the professional staff for the Committee and is responsible for due diligence on existing and prospective investment managers, portfolio operations, and administration. In addition, the University engages external investment consultants to assist the Committee and Treasurer’s Office in these efforts.
