University-wide Training and Development Opportunities

Technology Training
Information Technology Services and Communication offers free training classes in technology topics, and works to communicate with the University about major ITS projects.

Credit Course and Degree Programs
Woods College of Advancing Studies offers classes in the evening for free (full-time employees). CAS also offers a Master’s degree in Administrative Studies.

Graduate School of Arts & Sciences offers the following programs of study: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.); Master of Arts (M.A.); and Master of Sciences (M.S.). The School also admits as Special Students, those not seeking a degree who are interested in taking courses for personal enrichment.

The Carroll School of Management offers an Evening MBA program.

The Lynch School of Education offers master's and doctoral programs in university administration and student development.

Safety Training
The Office of Environmental Health & Safety provides health and safety training, information and compliance assistance.

Boston College Police Department conducts seminars and other community service activities to keep employees aware of safety issues.

The Boston Consortium for Higher Education
As a member of the Boston Consortium for Higher Education, Boston College can offer its employees additional learning opportunities and resources at a reasonable cost.
