Marathon Monday Mile21 Campaign | Monday, April 21, 2014
During the annual Boston Marathon on Monday, the Boston College Student Programs Office will be sponsoring its annual "Mile 21 Campaign." The Mile 21 Campaign seeks to promote the Boston Marathon throughout the Boston College campus, and encourage BC students to come out and watch the Marathon runners along Commonwealth Avenue. From 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., student volunteers will be stationed in the parking lot outside of Stayer Hall. Free Mile 21 tank tops, featuring the phrase "For Boston" and a commemorative ribbon with the date of the Boston Marathon bombings last year, will be available for distribution. Free Mile 21 sunglasses will also be distributed, and all volunteers will receive a free Mile 21 snapback hat!

Every year, the Boston College Arts Festival brings the Boston College and surrounding communities together to celebrate the arts. The 16th annual Arts Festival committee invites the community to experience the variety of arts at Boston College firsthand. A talented group of more than 1,000 student and faculty artists will present music, theater, dance, poetry, film, painting, sculpture, and more. Enjoy some music, buy some art, try your hand at ceramics, listen to readings, enjoy a play…there’s so much to experience at the BC Arts Festival!
