The Office of the Dean of Students supports student development throughout the college years. Guided by the belief that learning occurs inside and outside the classroom, we collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to help bridge the gaps between academics and students' social, spiritual, and personal lives.

To foster a culture of inclusion, the Office of the Dean of Students supports gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students and their allies by providing individual support and connecting them with campus support services. The dean's office and other groups also provide ongoing opportunities for the Boston College community to discuss issues related to sexual and gender identity.

We Want to Hear from You!
The Office of the Dean of Students will be conducting focus groups centered on the student perception of the responsibilities and functions of our office. Each group will last for approximately an hour and a half where we will provide the discussion questions and pizza.
