Getting Started with GET Food App at Boston College

For your iPhone/iPad/Android Devices

  1. Download the app
    1. Scan the QR code below if you have a QR reader app OR
    2. Download it by clicking the appropriate icon on the right  
  2. Select Boston College from the list of colleges (you only have to do this once!)
  3. Log in with your BC username/password
    1. Create a 4 digit PIN for easy log in going forward
    2. iPhone 6 and newer models can also use fingerprint ID to log in going forward
  4. Select “GET Food” from the menu
  5. Select “Hillside Cafe” from the list
  6. Select either “Now” or “Later” for pick up options
    1. Later will require you to select a date and time up to 6 days ahead
    2. Menus for ‘now’ and ‘later’ will correlate to what’s on the menu for that day
  7. Order your food and check out selecting either an approved meal plan or credit card.  You’ll get a confirmation on your device and an email.
    1. Be sure to select a payment plan from the dropdown list
    2. If you do not get a confirmation email, your order wasn't placed
  8. Pick up your order at the window (behind the condiment bar).  For any questions or concerns please see the manager on duty.  

Repeat when hungry

 

For your desktop

  1. Go to Get.cbord.com/bostoncollege
  2. Click on “Click here to login”
  3. Log in with your BC username/password
  4. From the top of the screen select “GET Food”
  5. Select Hillside Cafe from the center of the screen (View Menu)
  6. Select either “Now” or “Later” for pick up options
    1. Later will require you to select a date and time up to 6 days ahead
    2. Menus for ‘now’ and ‘later’ will correlate to what’s on the menu for that day
  7. Order your food and check out selecting either an approved meal plan or credit card.  You’ll get a confirmation on your device and an email.

Dining Plans that are available for use at GET Food locations will appear on the GET Funds page, along with the current balance for those plans. 

To see your plans and balances:

Mobile App:
    1. Log into the app
    2. Select "GET Funds"
    3. Select "My Accounts"
    4. Plans that are available will show up on the next screen.  

Website:
    1. Log into get.cbord.com/bostoncollege
    2. The plans available will show up on the main page along with their balance

YES! To add a credit card to your account you’ll need to do the following:

Mobile App:
    1. Log into GET
    2.  In the upper right click the tripple bars
    3. Select settings
    4. Select Credit Cards
    5. Select Add Credit Cards
    6. Add your card information as instructed (your information is secure in the GET app)

Website:
    1. Log into get.cbord.com/bostoncollege
    2. From the Overview page (first page) on the right select "Add Credit Card"
    3. Add your card information as instructed (your information is secure in the GET app)
