Our purpose is to:
- monitor and support accurate and efficient problem resolutions.
- analyze and identify trends that may be developing in the support services area so a proactive approach can be taken to address common issues when possible.
- coordinate and facilitate multiple projects and initiatives related to ITS support quality assurance at Boston College.
The goal of Computing Support & Training is to focus on the person and the solution. We work to meet this goal through the following service guidelines:
Curas personalis - demonstrating "care for the person" and their individual circumstances.
Accuracy - listening carefully and ensuring we are responding with accurate information, seeking assistance from ITS colleagues as needed.
No surprises - setting expectations around what we will do to help and when; and clearly communicating throughout the process.
