Mailings & Instructions
The Commencement Office sends out a Commencement Newsletter to parents in late summer; booking a hotel reservation and guaranteeing it is strongly encouraged at this time. In early January, the Office of Student Services emails the Commencement Student Guide to undergraduate and graduate students. A Commencement Guide for Families, a booklet which provides detailed information, logistics and locations for Commencement events is sent by the Commencement Office to parents of undergraduates in late March. At approximately the same time, a companion booklet, the May 2012 Undergraduate Student Commencement Guide and the May 2012 Graduate Student Commencement Guide is distributed to all undergraduate and graduate students who will be participating in Commencement. In late March each student eligible to graduate will receive an electronic invitation to send to family and friends. Students should contact their Dean or the Office of Student Services if they do not receive this mailing.
