Integrated Services/Extended Day Program
Link to article  The Integrated Services Program draws on the expertise and commitment of faculty and students in the schools of Education, Law, Management, Nursing, and Social Work to address the needs of children and families. Through a collaboration among faculty and students, Allston's Thomas Gardner School, the Allston-Brighton Family YMCA, and the Allston-Brighton Healthy Boston Coalition, the program has developed a model "Extended Services" school at the Gardner. It serves as a neighborhood center for students, parents, and other residents, allowing local agencies and teachers to offer a wider range of services to the community, such as career counseling, health services, recreational activities, and community educational classes.
