Senator Ed Markey Urges BC Students to Stay Active After March for our Lives

U.S. Senator Ed Markey, BC ’68 and BC Law ’72, spoke on Sunday, March 25th in Devlin 008, a day after joining other politicians in the March for Our Lives. Boston College ACC Student Advocacy Trip

During the ACC Student Advocacy Trip to Washington DC, a group of students from each ACC school thanks members of Congress for their support of student financial aid and undergraduate research funding and advocates for future funding. This year BC students visited with senior staff from Senator Edward Markey and Congresswoman Katherine Clark's offices, met with Congressman Jim McGovern and also visited the State Department and met with Andrew O'Brien, Special Representative for Global Partnerships in the Secretary of State's Office.
