2007-2008 Peer Advisors
WHAT WE DO
Each year, a select group of student advisors receive extensive training in career advising.
Peer Advisors then provide career advice on resumes, cover letters and interview skills to other undergraduates at the Career Center.
RESUME AND COVER LETTER CRITIQUES
- For a critique with a Peer Advisor, call 617-552-3644.
- Resume & cover letter critiques are also available with Career Center staff on a first-come, first-served basis during drop-in hours.
WORKSHOPS
- Peer Advisors conduct Interview Workshops and Resume and Cover Letter Workshops throughout the academic year.
- Please visit the Career Center Calendar for workshop dates and times.
PRACTICE INTERVIEWS
- From October through April, Peer Advisors also conduct practice interviews. Students have the option to have the interview video taped which provides a great tool for refining interviewing skills.
- To schedule a practice interview with a Peer Advisor, call 617-552-3644.
If you are interested in becoming a Peer Advisor for the 2008-2009 academic year, applications will be available in the Spring of 2008.
