Connect with a Career Advisor

boston college career center

Specialized career advisors are available throughout the year to meet individually and in small groups with Boston College students and recent alumni about any aspect of the career path, from exploring majors to researching graduate programs to finding a job.

Career Chats, group advising sessions led by Career Center staff, allow students to engage in discussion around various career-related topics with their peers.  Career Chats will be held several times per week across campus.  Come and go as you are able and bring your questions!  See the schedule in EagleLink.

Workshops, which are available upon request, are available on a variety of topics for student groups and organizations, residence halls, classes, and departments.  Request a workshop here.

From August 22 through September 30, 2016, Career Center appointments are available to current BC students and the Class of 2016 only. As students return to campus, this is a peak demand period for students. We thank you for your understanding as we work to meet this demand and invite you to continue to access the following Career Center resources during this time: Career Center websiteBoston College Career Community on LinkedIn, and EagleLink

In addition, please know that BC alumni get a discounted rate for career advising through Transition Solutions if you are looking for immediate assistance during this time period.

For more information about services available to alumni through the Career Center, please visit our For Alumni page.

The Career Center also offers appointments via Skype for those students that are unable to meet with a career advisor in person due to geographic or physical limitations. Students should create a Skype account (if they do not already have one) before scheduling the remote appointment.

If you graduated more than five years ago, check Services for Alumni.
