Endeavor Fellows 2019
Endeavor Fellows are student leaders who have previously participated in Endeavor and serve as mentors to help participants make the most of their experience. Endeavor Fellows help promote the program, facilitate group discussions, moderate career cluster panels, and attend career treks.

I am currently a member of Fuego del Corazón, BC's Latin dance team, & a tour guide & panelist in the Student Admission Program. I work at the Career Center as a Peer Career Coach, & I hope to work in higher education in some form (Career Coach, Academic Advisor, Admissions Counselor - I'm not quite sure yet!) post-graduation.
My favorite part of Endeavor were the skills analysis portion on the first day. It was incredible helpful to me to be able to assess the skills I have & the skills I hope to build in such a straight forward process. Additionally, seeing how those skills translated into activities I enjoy & potential future career paths was enlightening.

I am a writer and Associate Culture Editor for The Gavel, a dancer on BC's hip hop team Phaymus, a volunteer tutor for the Boston College Neighborhood Center, an executive board member for the AHANA+ Pre-Law Student Association, and an executive board member for Boston College Splash! I am very interested in pursuing a career in the legal field.
My favorite part of Endeavor was hearing from Boston College alumni on various career panels and connecting with them personally during the networking event. Listening to professionals in the legal field was a rare and enlightening opportunity that further inspired me to purse a legal career path.

Path to my major: I am a current sophomore in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Economics with a minor in Management and Leadership. With this academic background I am hoping to pursue a career in consulting but am still open to anything! At BC, I enjoy being a part of different academic and social clubs such as the Student Admissions Program, Learning To Serve, the Consulting Club and the BC Symphonic Band.
Favorite part of Endeavor: As a participant of Endeavor, I very much enjoyed listening to the different panels of BC alumni and learning of the endless possibilities available to all students of a Liberal Arts education. This specific opportunity helped guide me towards realizing what I may want to do in the future. I am very much looking forward to being a part of the Endeavor Program again and helping students to get as much out of it as I was able to!

About me: Career-wise, I am pursuing something in financial services, preferably a something where I can integrate technology and coding into the financial services which I am providing. At BC, I am a 4Boston volunteer and a campus tour guide.
Favorite part of Endeavor: My favorite part of participating in Endeavor last year would have to be networking with alums; it was great for practicing the skill of networking, and connecting one on one with alums was an incredibly helpful experience.

I'm interested in finance and investment as a couple potential career paths, although I may pursue something more technology related. I also work on campus as an intramural referee for basketball and flag football.
My favorite part of Endeavor was definitely the skills workshop; these helped me realize what my strengths are and how to articulate those, as well as realizing some of my weaknesses. Since participating in endeavor, I’ve become a much more confident speaker, which I always viewed as one of my weaker areas. .

About me: I am a history major and I have taken a fair amount of finance classes. I am not a hundred percent sure what I want to do, but I definitely want to work in the business world. At BC I play on intramural soccer and basketball teams.
Favorite part of Endeavor: My favorite thing about the Endeavor program was meeting new people and realizing that it doesn’t matter what my major is. In fact, I strongly believe it helps you look at the business world differently and makes you stand out when you are in interviews.

I am still fine-tuning my career path; however, I am very interested in pursuing a job in consulting. Aside from my academics, I love being a part of the BC Dynamics, a co-ed a cappella group on campus.
My favorite part of Endeavor was definitely having the opportunity to meet and talk to so many great alumni. Through my conversations, I made numerous connections and learned a lot about many different fields of business that I previously did not know much about. It is truly amazing to speak to someone who has been in your position as a student at BC and to see where their experiences have brought them.

About me: My career interests, currently, are centered around using data analysis for advocacy purposes, ideally environmental protection or advocacy for low-income women. I volunteer at the Roxbury Youth Program through 4Boston, and I am member of the BC Art Club.
My favorite part of Endeavor: My favorite part of Endeavor was the Career Cluster Panels; it was an incredibly informative, yet informal way to learn about industries I had never considered before.

I am president of my a cappella group, the Bostonians. I am interested in a career in human resources and recruiting.
My favorite part of Endeavor was meeting with alumni and learning about their career path. By talking to alumni, I made connections, discovered different careers, and learned about how BC students could market their skills to employers.

I a member of the Boston College Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Music Society, and the Marketing Academy at Boston College. Currently I am working in Arts Administration at the Boston Ballet School, and also planning on volunteering at Gifford Cat Shelter in the fall.
The largest takeaway I had from Endeavor was distilling my priorities and values down into workable goals. The exposure to the process of networking was also extremely useful.

I am currently a member of the Boston College men's club lacrosse team, and I am also a member of the BC Bigs organization. As far as my career interests, I have been working toward getting involved in finance / financial services.
My favorite part of Endeavor was the networking lunch. I really benefited from this because it taught me to use my communication skills to display myself to potential employers and to be confident even when I am unsure of what to say or what questions to ask. Since Endeavor, I have been much more proactive in my own career search by reaching out, by phone and email, to alumni I met at Endeavor and through websites like EagleLink.

I am currently studying Economics and Environmental Studies and am hoping to pursue a career in Business Services, Consulting, or Public Policy after graduation. I was fortunate enough to spend my junior year studying abroad and love being involved in SAP and SymBa back on campus.
My favorite part of Endeavor is meeting and connecting with the alumni who come back to campus. It has been so encouraging to learn from BC alumni who were once in our shoes and to establish connections with people from various industries. Since taking part in Endeavor as both a participant and Fellow, I have become more open-minded about future career paths and more confident in pursuing what I am truly interested in!

Two things I am most involved with at Boston College are varsity volleyball and the BC Wishmakers club.
My favorite part of Endeavor was hearing from the alumni about the importance of getting such a well rounded education. Since Endeavor, I have changed because I now know how to identify my skills and portray myself in a more attractive ways to employers.

I am involved with Boston College Television and Hollywood Eagles Film Club, as well as a leader for Word of Mouth storytelling club. I hope to one day work in Television/Film.
My favorite part of Endeavor was definitely the Career Trek. Being able to interact with alumni at their work places was incredibly valuable. Since Endeavor, I have expanded my career search to a wider variety of fields.

My favorite part of Endeavor was meeting alumni and the CareerTrek to Turbonomic. I loved seeing the inside of a tech startup and meeting inspiring, young BC graduates in the workforce.

I am involved in the AHANA Pre-Law Society, Kaleidoscope International Journal and O.L.A.A. I would like to continue onto law school and eventually practice international law.
My favorite part of Endeavor was meeting BC alumni and talking to them about their BC and career experiences. I also enjoyed meeting other students who were trying to understand the professional world and learn how to achieve their goals. Since Endeavor, I have a much clearer understanding of my career goals and I am much more confident in my academic choice to study International Studies and Hispanic Studies.

Favorite part of Endeavor: My Favorite part of Endeavor was the Alumni Coaching session where we got to plan out how we will proceed for the upcoming semester and possible future opportunities that may be available. It was a fantastic time.

I am a communication major with interests in marketing, real estate development, the entertainment industry, and potential careers in sales or public relations. I am involved in the BC club soccer team, the International Assistant program, and am also a Peer Career Coach. One of my future career interests is real estate.
My favorite part of Endeavor was getting to interact with the Alumni. The networking sessions and panels gave me exposure to the many different types of jobs within certain industries. I learned about what a typical day looks like, how certain skills translate to a professional environment, and some insight into how career paths are formed and are constantly changing.

I am an Outdoor Adventures Leader with BC Outdoor Adventures, the treasurer of BC STITCH, an American Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator, and am also a member of Appalachia Volunteers.
My favorite part of Endeavor was the career trek. It was really beneficial for me to get the chance to see the a company from within, get a feel for the culture, and hear from the employees personally. Endeavor made the career process so much less daunting and made me excited for a future career rather than nervous. tories.

On campus, I'm involved in clubs including BCTV, Avid Listeners, Word of Mouth, and Hollywood Eagles. I have an interest in health sciences and am currently following the Pre-Med track, but I am also keeping my options open to other fields such as film or television production.
My favorite part of Endeavor was having the opportunity to meet with so many alumni who had interesting and encouraging stories to share. Since participating in Endeavor, I have become more inclined to seek out opportunities to further my experience with fields that interest me, and more capable of asking the right questions when it comes to making professional decisions.

I am the Editor in Chief of the Rock at BC and leader of the German Club's Stammtisch program. I'm hoping to pursue a career in the financial services, with a focus on wealth management.
Endeavor pushed me to take a more proactive role in my career planning. I overcame the fear of reaching out to alumni either in person or online in order to make my voice heard.

I am on Boston College's Varsity Volleyball team and volunteer in the athletic department. I am also involved in Rising Eagles Leadership and am a member of the Outdoors Club.
I liked hearing from the alumni panels; hearing their insight was very helpful in shaping my future career interests.
