Informal gatherings led by Career Center staff, Career Chats allow students to engage in discussion around various career-related topics with their peers.  See the schedule in EagleLink.


Career Fairs

Industry-focused career fairs are happening throughout the year enabling BC students to meet potential employers and make professional connections.

Office hours with alumni and employers in the Career Center.  This is a unique opportunity for a one-on-one meeting with 'experts' in your field of interest to ask job search questions, receive resume and LinkedIn tips, and get feedback on a mock interview.  Check the schedule in EagleLink and make your reservation for an Expert-in-Residence session, happening throughout the semester.



Workshops are available for classes, residence halls, and student groups and organizations upon request with a variety of topics available from which you can choose.

Three Career Fairs | Three Cities | Three Days. Mark your calendars to attend these career fairs held in partnership with a consortium of 17 other prestigious colleges and universities during winter break. These popular events allow BC students to network and interview for internships and full-time jobs with hundreds of employers in Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C.

Spring Career & Internship Fair

Looking for an internship or full-time opportunity? Over 80 employers will attend this two-day Career Fair, representing a wide variety of industries and functions. Don't miss this chance to connect directly with employers who are looking to hire!

Nursing Career & Internship Fair

This fair will bring over 30 employers seeking to hire nursing students into RN, NP, CNA, and PCA positions. Also during the fair, CSON alumnae will meet one-on-one with students to discuss their career paths, organizations, and specialties. Nursing students from all class years are encouraged to attend.

Startup & Entrepreneurship Fair

This free event open to all BC students brings together the most entrepreneurial and innovative students at Boston College. All students, no matter what major or college, who are seeking internships and/or full-time positions at startup companies are welcome. Come learn about startups and network with employers and alumni. Sponsored by the Boston College Shea Center for Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Boston College Career Center

Getting Started in Government & Non-Profit

This event will allow students to better understand how to secure jobs and internships within the Government & Non-Profit sectors. The program will feature a panel of young alumni who will share about their experiences, hiring process, and tips for success, followed by networking with key employers and alumni in the field, and option drop-in stations where students can receive on-the-spot coaching from Career Center staff members.

Sports Business Society Networking Night

This event connects students with an interest in internships and full-time positions in the sports industry with executives, alumni, and representatives from top sports organizations for an evening of round-table networking. Last year's event featured representatives from the Boston Red Sox, Nike, ESPN, PGA Tour, and more!

Diversity Virtual Fair

The annual Diversity Virtual Career Fair will provide an innovative forum through which students can connect with employers. The fair will connect students with employers from across the nation in a variety of industries. The fair is co- hosted by the Boston College Career Center and CareerECO, is open to universities across the U.S., and is open to ALL students. 

AHANA Networking Night
Tuesday, March 21, 2017

A networking event for students to connect with AHANA alumni from a variety of industries to get career advice, make connections and learn from each other in a friendly environment. The event features a panel in which alumni will share their career paths and experience as a person of color in the workplace. Students will also have an opportunity to network with alumni in both a round table discussion and an open networking forum as they explore career options. Sponsored by The Career Center, the AHANA Management Academy (AMA), and the AHANA Alumni Advisory Council (AAAC).

CCCOB Government Careers Information Forum

Network with professionals and learn about opportunities in local, state, and federal government. This off-campus event also gives you the opportunity to talk with peers from other Boston-area universities with similar career interests. SEC/ACC Virtual Fair
Tuesday, April 4 & Wednesday, April 5, 2017

The annual SEC/ACC Virtual Career Fair will provide an innovative forum through which students can connect with employers. The fair will connect students with 120+ employers live online from across the nation in a variety of industries, for both full-time and internship opportunities. All majors invited!

NEW DATE: Careers in Health & Healthcare
Thursday, April 6, 2017

This event will connect students with BC alumni to explore many career paths within health and healthcare, including: clinical professions, public health, research and development, and the business side of healthcare. Students will also explore ways to gain healthcare-related experience as undergraduates. Students from all majors and class years are encouraged to attend.

Job Shadow Treks

Job Shadow Treks provide an opportunity for students to explore industries in a hands-on environment. Each trek, hosted by BC alumni, will last approximately two hours and will provide a unique experience which may include alumni panels, tours, networking sessions, and presentations.
