Boston College students, alumni and staff may meet with a member of our professional career advising staff at any time during the year.
Advisors can provide assistance in the following areas:
- choosing or changing a career
- choosing an academic major
- finding an internship
- finding a job
- applying to graduate school
- resume critiques
- interview strategies and practice interviews
- ANY question related to careers, jobs, internships, majors, graduate school, even "time off"
Appointment can be made by:
- calling 617-552-3644
- or by dropping by the Career Center, 38 commonwealth Avenue in Chestnut Hill, diagonally across from White Mountain Creamery.
We also offer:
- Drop-In hours, during which you may have a 15-20 minute consultation with a counselor. Drop-In appointments are appropriate for resume critiques and quick questions. If you need help in choosing a career or have more involved questions, we recommend that you make a full appointment with a counselor rather than trying to cram everything into a brief meeting.
- Internship Drop-In hours
- Resume Critiques by appointment with a Peer Advisor
- Practice Interviews
