The 2009 Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity for recruiters from around the nation to meet, interview, and interact with some of the best and brightest nurses in New England. Boston College boasts a full range of nursing majors, which includes a total of 384 undergraduates in four classes. BC has 96 graduating seniors in May 2010, all with generic baccalaureate graduates. Approximately 40% of these graduates seek initial licensure outside of MA. BC had 85 MS graduates in 2009; graduates are eligible for certification as NP or CNS in one of several specialties (Adult Health, Gerontology, Palliative Care, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Anesthesia, Psych-Mental Health, Family). These students will be seeking to develop professional contacts, to find internships and jobs, and to learn more about their professional landscape. IMPORTANT: Since we only have limited space for storage, we ask that you send your Career Fair materials so that WE RECEIVE THEM between November 27 and December 3. We can not guarantee that materials received after December 3 will be transported to the Career Fair location.

If you are planning to ship materials back to your organization after the Career Fair on Monday December 7, please follow the instructions below.

Arrange for your carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) to arrive at Corcoran Commons on Boston College's Lower Campus (near Robsham Theater), by 3:00 PM for pickup. Pre-arrange this or provide your representatives with the necessary telephone numbers so they can call from the fair.

Bring necessary packing supplies with you to the Career Fair (tape, labels, markers, etc.)

Bring completed self-addressed shipping labels for your packages.
