Resources For AHANA Students
office of AHANA career services (ACS) at boston college

What is AHANA?
The term AHANA was coined to represent African-American, Hispanic, Asian and Native American students at Boston College. Today, AHANA is used at Boston College and at other campuses across the nation to celebrate diversity.
Mission:
The mission of AHANA Career Services (ACS)
is to empower AHANA students of Boston
College and all students with unique career
development considerations to be proactive and
participatory in their own career development
by offering programs, workshops, and services
that engage, inspire, and increase their career
awareness and success.
AHANA Career Services isn’t a replacement for
the services offered by the Career Services
Center. Rather, it is a supplemental and specific
purpose career outreach program that considers
the demonstrable social, historical, political, and
economic influences on AHANA students as
individuals in meeting their career development
goals.
