WHAT IS CAREERSEARCH - WHEN SHOULD YOU USE IT?
  • What is CareerSearch? A database of nearly 2,000,000 employers and 6000 executive recruiters in virtually every industry.
  • While CareerSearch does not link to job listings, we DO encourage you to use it to identify possible employers, then find their web sites and look for job postings there. Click here to learn more about this job-hunting strategy (this will open a new browser window).
  • When to use this database: use it when you have some clarity about the type of work you want to do, meaning you've decided on a career field. Otherwise, you will end up with a substantial list of organizations and a lot of confusion about what to do next.
  • For technical assistance with the CareerSearch system, call 617-552-4768 (BC students and alumni only).
  • PLEASE NOTE: when you are done using CareerSearch, PLEASE click on the "Log Out" link. This will allow other BC users to access the system.
