ONLINE RESUME BOOKS

You now have the option of submitting your resume into Online Resume Books in EagleLink which employers may access via the Career Center.  There are several Resume Books to choose from that may represent a variety of careers.

Before you submit your resume, make sure the text of your resume is rich with words that accurately describe your skills and experiences.  That way, when employers search the resume books by keyword, you have a greater chance of getting your resume reviewed.

To get started, log in to EagleLink and follow the steps listed below.

NEW AND RETURNING USERS:

Go to EagleLink.

Log in with your username (your shortened BC e-mail address, i.e. smithixx@bc.edu) and password. If you don't know your password, select "Forgot Password."  Enter your username (your shortened BC e-mail address), and your password will be reset and sent to you.

1. From your homepage, select Documents from the toolbar.  Upload your resume into the system if you don't currently have one on file.  Click Add New to add a new resume.

2. From Documents, go to the Opt-In Resume Book tab.  On this page,  you will see your Primary Resume, or a list of all the resumes you have uploaded in EagleLink.  Identify the resume you would like to submit.  Under the Options column heading, choose the Select Resume Books button.  On the next screen, select the desired "Target Opt-In Resume Book" from the ones listed in the dropdown box.  It is possible to submit your resume to more than one resume book.  To complete the process, click the "Submit" button.

NOTE:

Remember to log in to EagleLink regularly to keep your resume active in the Online Resume Books.  Your resume becomes inactive if you fail to log in after 60 days.

Once you have secured employment, remove your resume from the Resume Books.  Uncheck the box next to the specific Target Opt-In Resume Book.  Click the Submit button to complete this process.

EagleLink will be valuable to you  after you have graduated since employers will continue to post entry-level opportunities and request access to Resume Books throughout the summer months.
