Once you’ve identified your interests and spent some time exploring careers and majors, you’re ready to find an internship or job in a field that’s right for you.
The Boston College Career Center has plenty of resources and advice to help you succeed. For example:
Resumes and cover letters
The Career Center has compiled a long list of tips on writing great letters and resumes. We also offer workshops and one-on-one critiques.
From researching potential employers to networking with BC alumni and attending career fairs, our job search strategies will help you get your foot in the door.
Prepare for interviews by reviewing our extensive interviewing tips. Then, apply what you’ve learned with an online practice interview, participation in Interview Prep Week or a practice interview at the Career Center.
We also provide access to a vast array of internship resources through EagleLink, our comprehensive online career network, and UCAN, our internship database. And if you’re interested in full-time volunteer work, the Office of Volunteer & Service Learning can help you with that too.
