  1. Networking With Alumni

   NOTE: Some of these websites are PASSWORD PROTECTED.

  • BC students access passwords through EagleLink. Log in and click on Career Center Website Passwords.  
  • BC alumni access passwords through the Alumni Association Online Community. Log in, click on Career Resources, then Helpful Information, then Password Assistance.

 
   1. INTERNSHIP AND CAREER FAIRS
 
Boston College Career Fair
Usually in mid-September. Many of these organizations offer internships.
 
Boston College Spring/Summer Internship Fair
Usually in late January. About 50 Boston-area organizations.
 
Career and Internship Connections (CIC) Fairs
During Winter Break - last year, they were in DC, NYC, LA, Chicago and Boston

UCAN/Internship Exchange
Thousands of internships from a network of top schools around the country, including BC. 
Username = Your BC email address (for example boltu@bc.edu)
Password = Your EagleID number (8 digits)

EagleLink
Includes all Campus Recruiting Program listings and internship listings from any employer who wishes to post their listings exclusively for BC students.

Internship Review

BC students tell all about their internships. Use the information to contact the same employer for your own opportunity.  Password protected.

Internship Series Online
Listings from around the country in 12 specific industries, including media, sports, advertising, history, international affairs, the environment, human rights, and more. Password protected.

Internships.com
A large database of internships around the country, in a great variety of fields.  Password protected.

SimplyHired
SimplyHired is the largest search engine for jobs; browse jobs by title, location, company and industry. 

CareerSearch

  • A database of nearly 2,000,000 employers in virtually every industry.
  • While CareerSearch does not link to internships, use it to identify possible employers, then find their web sites and look for internships there.

Advanced Study Grants
These BC grants support student-designed research or language skills acquisition projects during the summer.

Undergraduate Research Fellowships
These BC grants support undergraduates who assist a BC faculty member in faculty research, during the Fall, Spring, or Summer.

Access the Career Network
Log in through Agora and select Career Services.  On the Alumni Career Network page select "search for a career advisor".
