Business school admissions are based on three basic criteria:
- Undergraduate GPA
- GMAT scores (or GRE scores; check with your school)
GPA and GMAT scores are important, but your experiences beyond the classroom can count just as much, especially if you bring something different or unique to the table.
WHEN TO APPLY
If the schools you’re applying to use rolling admissions or staggered deadlines, it is to your advantage to apply early. There may be as many as four application rounds in a year. Earlier in the cycle is always better, especially with smaller programs.
