Graduate studies in the arts and sciences is driven by a desire to acquire advanced knowledge in a specific field. Many students who pursue such studies find work in academia as teachers and/or researchers; others pursue work related to their chosen field in the corporate world.
One of the best ways to find out about graduate programs is through networking. Ask your college professors about the best programs, get the opinion of current BC graduate students, and email scholars whose work you admire. Network with BC alumni and other professionals, and visit the BC Career Center.
