Services for BC Students
Boston College’s reciprocity policy enables BC students and alumni who live more than 50 miles from campus to use the career center of a more local college or university.
Under reciprocity, you can typically get access to resources such as job listings, career literature, resource directories, annual reports, resume guides, and interviewing guidance. Some universities offer workshops as well, but very few offer one-on-one career counseling.
Not every institution offers reciprocity, so be sure to check with the institution you plan to visit before you go. Policies vary from one institution to another, too.
To use another institution’s career center, contact the Boston College Career Center to request a letter to present to the other career center.
