Budget Change Procedures
A budget transfer (pdf) is an on-line tool for moving available dollars within or between departmental budgets. Budgets are uniquely identified by a chartstring; a chartstring is made up of chartfield values. The chartfield values in a chartstring identify Budget Period, Department, Fund Code, Fund Source, Program, Function, Property and Account.
