CONGRATULATIONS BC bOp!
The Boston College instrumental and vocal jazz ensemble, BC bOp!, has returned victorious from the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Moscow, Idaho.
BC bOp! members performed as a vocal combo and as an instrumental ensemble for adjudication on Thursday, February 23, 2012. The adjudicators lauded both groups for their exceptional performances. Additionally, the instrumental ensemble was awarded the highest honor, having been the only college band invited to perform in the Young Artists Concert. Katie Giffune, bass trombonist for the ensemble, received an honorable mention for her outstanding musicianship.

(the alumni jazz ensemble of BC bOp!)
The evening will also feature the debut performance of bAby bOp (the offspring jazz ensemble of BC bOp!)
This event is free and open to the public and will coincide with the 25th Anniversary of BC bOp!
