BC Pep Band

The second largest ensemble in the Bands Program, the Pep Band plays at all home BC Men's Hockey games and all home Women's and Men's Basketball games. The ensemble rehearses weekly, combining traditional instrumentation with auxillary and keyboard instruments to perform contemporary music selections and interact with the crowd during games! Membership is open to all BC students as well as students from surrounding colleges and universities.

The mission of the University Wind Ensemble is to provide students opportunities to perform the finest and most challenging wind and percussion literature of outstanding composers. The typical member of the University Wind Ensemble is a highly skilled, highly motivated student for whom making music is a personal priority. The ensemble performs large ensemble literature for winds and percussion as well as chamber music. Members receive a small scholarship and free private lessons. Auditions take place at the start of the fall semester.
