Training

Training refers to the process of education or instruction of a person to ensure that specific processes are appropriately performed.

Risks:
  • Critical operations could be seriously interrupted if key individuals were not available because of illness or a decision to leave the University.
Controls:
  • Staff and executives should be appropriately cross trained.
  • Roles and responsibilities should be defined, documented and communicated to applicable personnel.
