There are numerous opportunities for Boston College students to get involved in the Arts Festival and a great deal to be gained from the experience. A look behind the scenes of a major university event; valuable experience in event management, marketing, and production; the opportunity to promote and support the arts at Boston College; and the all-important resume-building activity. AND it’s a lot of fun!

JOBS FOR 2nd SEMESTER- PAID
The Arts Council will offer a competitive salary for the following positions.  Students must keep regular office hours, be available for planning meetings, and be committed for the entire semester.  Performing Arts Experience and MS Office skills required.
 
Arts Festival Production Manager (undergraduate or graduate student)

Manage the Arts Festival schedule, coordinate production meetings and technicians, supervise volunteers and staff during festival.  Great position for people interested in production management and/or event planning.  Should have had some experience with the festival as performer, event staff or volunteer.


Arts Festival Assistant Marketing Coordinator
(Sophomore/Junior only)
Assist in the planning and coordinating team meetings and volunteers, assist with the production of festival marketing materials, and manage distribution, preparation of marketing timeline/plan. Great position for students interested in marketing and/or arts management.
  
FESTIVAL PRODUCTION INTERNSHIPS – PAID
These are great positions for students looking for more performing arts experience.  These positions are paid by the hour, not with a stipend.  Meals are provided while working at the festival – and students must be available for the entire festival.
 
Production Staff (undergraduate or graduate students with some relevant experience)

FESTIVAL MARKETING INTERNSHIPS - UNPAID

These are great positions for students looking for marketing experience.  These are not paid positions; however, t-shirts, tickets to the musical, and some meals are provided.  Students participate in team meetings and coordinate volunteers – and gain valuable experience – while making a significant contribution to this huge university event.  Internal, External, and Targeted Marketing Project Coordinators are needed; and projects will be assigned once meetings begin based on the interest and skills of the team members.
