    Highlights from the 2007 Arts Festival:

      The first festival in 1999 was one day - with less than 30 events and exhibits. The nineth festival in 2007 featured fifty performances, six art exhibitions, six art demonstrations, three film exhibitions, eight hours of literary readings, an afternoon of art activities designed for children, a Mass for the arts, and several other special events.

      The festival program also includes an exclusive alumni event on the closing evening of the festival, during which the Arts Council presents an annual Alumni Award for artistic achievement. Past award winners: Chris O'Donnell '92 - 2003, Ellis Paul (Paul Plissey '87) - 2004, James Balog '74 - 2005, (pictured right) Amy Poelher '93 - 2006, and Paul Daigneault '87 -2007.
