T Shirt Design Contest

All BC Arts Festival artists must be BC students - graduate or undergraduate - or faculty and staff. In some cases, alumni may perform or exhibit their work by contacting Cathi Ianno Fournier, Arts Festival Project Director, at ianno@bc.edu. All schedule requests and programming ideas for the 2008 Festival are due by Dec. 10, 2007.

Jobs, internships and volunteer positions are available for BC graduate and undergraduate students.
Student Performing Organizations
Email arts@bc.edu by Dec. 10 to indicate your interest. All new groups must schedule a meeting with the Project Director, Cathi Ianno Fournier, before Dec. 10, 2007 by emailing arts@bc.edu.
Performing Artists
In addition to organized performing groups, the festival provides opportunities for singer/songwriters and rock bands to perform in the festival. Partnering with UGBC and the Music Guild, BC student musicians can participate in BC’s Best – a talent competition at the festival that is preceded by several preliminary competitions. Send an email to arts@bc.edu to be added to the email update list.
Street Performers
Jugglers, street musicians, balloon artists, muralists, and others...let us know your talent and get involved! Send an email to arts@bc.edu by the end of the fall semester.
Craft Artists
There will be a craft sale for table items like jewelry, scarves, hand hags, etc. during the Arts Festival. Please send an e-mail to describe your craft and interest, and details will be sent to you in January.
Film Projects
Film students may contact Mike Civille, Fine Arts department to submit their work. Please contact civille@bc.edu in the Spring for more information.
Literary Artists (Writers)
Contact Suzanne Matson, English department, at matson@bc.edu in January to participate.
