The arts programs at Boston College have continued to grow and flourish. This event gives alumni an opportunity to experience the increasing diversity, scope, and quality of the arts programs at Boston College as well as to reconnect with the university and each other.
The alumni event will include a cocktail reception and dinner with cash bar, where the Arts Council will present its 6th annual Alumni Award for distinguished achievement to director Tom McCarthy '88. For the main event, alumni may choose between a performance by BC bOp!, which will feature alumni performers from the past 20 years OR a University Theater performance of Urinetown. In addition, the McMullen Museum of Art's spring 2008 exhibition Tree of Paradise: Jewish Mosaics from the Roman Empire will be open for extended hours and a Mass for the Arts starting at 4:30 p.m. will be available for interested alumni.
