Every year, the Boston College Arts Festival brings the Boston College and surrounding communities together to celebrate the arts. The 16th annual Arts Festival committee invites the community to experience the variety of arts at Boston College firsthand. A talented group of more than 1,000 student and faculty artists will present music, theater, dance, poetry, film, painting, sculpture, and more. Enjoy some music, buy some art, try your hand at ceramics, listen to readings, enjoy a play...there’s so much to experience at the BC Arts Festival!
We are currently receiving nominations for Arts Student Awards, which will be presented at the Arts Award Ceremony on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 4:00pm in the Stokes Art Tent. If you are BC staff or faculty, find out how to nominate your peers for an award here.
Along with recognizing accomplished students, the awards program will also be honoring alumna Anne Garefino '81, Executive Producer of South Park and the Book of Mormon, and faculty member Seamus Connolly, whose work in the celtic arts is internationally appreciated.
The reception is free and open to the public. Registration for attendance will open in early April. If you have any questions regarding the event, please contact Eva Maynard '97 at 617-552-4757.
Faculty and staff, nominate your students for an Arts Award. Simply fill in the nomination form by Friday, February 28, 2014.
