The 2011 Arts Awards Recipients gathered on stage after the ceremony.

University President William P. Leahy, S.J., and Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences David Quigley presented the awards. The brief ceremony was followed by an open reception and celebration with entertainment and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

2011 Alumni Award

Chuck Hogan '89 - Chuck Hogan is the New York Times bestselling author of several acclaimed novels, including Prince of Thieves, Devils in Exile, The Killing Moon, and The Standoff. His non-fiction has appeared in The New York Times, and his short fiction has twice been anthologized in The Best American Mystery Stories annual.

2011 Faculty Award

Suzanne Matson - The Chair of the English Department, an outstanding professor, and an author whose efforts on behalf of poetry and creative writing at Boston College have enriched our understanding of literature and humanity.
