ArtistLink helps artists, developers, and municipalities develop spaces for creative work and living. The web site offers over 80 pages of helpful content on leasing, purchasing and developing artist space, including a home buying course for artists, a database of artist space development models, and advice for municipalities on zoning for the arts.
Association of Performing Arts Presenters covers the broad spectrum of arts management organizations with a comprehenive list of career opportunities, including theater, opera, and dance companies, as well a talent agencies and arts advocacy groups.

Managed by Theatre Communications Group, Artsearch has a monthly fee for membership: $40 for six months of online access and $60 for 6 months of online and printed classifieds access. Positions posted here are sourced from theaters, performing arts centers, summer festivals, universities, colleges and schools, dance companies, opera companies, symphony orchestras, museums, arts councils, and other arts organizations. Also included in this site are arts related articles. Positions range from internships to executives.

There are two types of listings:

Space Available Now listings are artist spaces for rent or purchase now (like a classifieds ad or a Craigslist listing). They stay on the site for 30 days.

Directory of Artist Space is a permanent directory of artists' spaces in the state (like a yellow pages listing). They may or may not be currently available.
This is a great free website consisting of opportunities for all levels, including internships in design, administrative management, technical theater or opera. There are links guiding job searchers to other job positing sites. This site lists touring jobs and Chicago based jobs, along with places that are always hiring.
Containing mainly postings from New York City, this site lists positions for internships, administration, design, performance, and technical postings for opportunities in talent agencies, theaters, opera companies, theater camps, symphonies, dance companies, orchestras, and theater related agencies.

The Boston Annual Guide for the Arts
Although this site doesn't provide job listings it is an excellent way to keep up to date on the local events in the Boston area. Containing listings for theaters, opera, and art exhibitions, it also offers links to local theaters and galleries.

Boston College Career Center
This site is an excellent reference for any student. It lists the current career programs on campus along with any special events or lectures. This site allows searches by specific field and has links to both a jobs and an internships page. Additionally, there are numerous links to other useful career pages and a top 10 of least utilized services provided right here at BC to help find a great career.

This page provides multiple links throughout the arts disciplines. It also includes BC websites for some faculty and resources on campus.

If you find a job listing that interests you while searching the job database, place it in your personal folder for review at your leisure.
Although this website rarely has any arts positions posted, it is nonetheless a valuable resource while job hunting. Some unique aspects about this site are the salary calculator that compares salaries in various cities based on the standard of living and state specific searches. There are career related articles, including information about education, human resources news, relocation tools, and information about writing resumes.
This website is best navigated by searching for jobs in a specific city. A useful feature of this site is that you can search for positions in strictly non-profit organizations. Despite the fact that there are not very many arts management positions, resumes can still be posted here and there are many other great resources for job seeking.
This website is a great resource for any job. There is also an international search located at this site. There are countless informational resources including resume advice, and interviewing tips.
Although this website does not actually have any job postings, it does have an abundance of career related information. There are links to courses, scholarships, moving tips and career advice from experts. Also, there are links to and, two of the largest career search engines.
This site is a large job bank, however the advaced search function allows for focused job hunting; if you are looking for a position in a certain city or even company you can select those categories to narrow down the search results. Jobtrak provides comprehensive information and advice on newsletters, cover letters, resumes, portfolios, interviewing, and the like.
Although this site offers jobs at any level from entry through executive director, it does not contain very many arts jobs, yet does allow resumes to be posted. There are an abundance of links on everything from landing interviews to salary negotiations as well as a virtual interview to help prepare for the real thing.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy
“The Newspaper of the Non-Profit World,” has a free job site as well as a new job email alert. These job listings are primarily in the field of development and marketing, however, there are several administrative positions listed.
This website consists of a job bank for only nonprofit companies. A feature of this site is that there are articles and books linked to this source. Arts related positions can be searched for by keyword such as “theater” or “opera”. This website also posts various articles about marketing, finance, current events, and technology and media.
This website hosts the Actions without Borders’ Non-Profit Career Center, listing thousands of non-profit jobs all over the world. Job seekers can search the site according to location, area of interest, or type of organization. This site also contains profiles for hundreds of non-profit organizations. In addition, information can be found regarding the many career fairs that are hosted by throughout the United States. A great resource!

The Nonprofit Times
The Nonprofit Times is one of the leading business publications in the non-profit world. The postings on this site are primarily middle to executive level. The top nonprofit organizations from across the United States post positions here.

Some perks on this site include the ability to post a resume and read arts related articles. There are links to arts management related articles. The Cultural Commons was created by the Center for Arts and Culture, a Washington based organization, to help the creative and cultural communities stay informed about the critical issues facing the arts and culture, and take action to improve the policies that shape our cultural life. The employment section of this page highlights arts-related opportunities across the country.
This site is a free service of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and offers creative employment opportunities in Massachusetts. Jobs can be searched for by category, region and organization without any registration or password. Additionally, jobs can be posted on this site and will appear the day that they are submitted.
