Cathi Fournier Ianno is a professional arts administrator with more than 17 years experience in the field.  Currently, Ms. Ianno leads the Office of the Arts Council at Boston College, managing the projects that benefit all of the arts at the University.  She edits and publishes the BC Arts Calendar and related marketing publications, manages several career programs for student and alumni artists, and provides marketing expertise and support for various University arts programs and events.  Ms. Ianno serves as the Director of the annual BC Arts Festival, which attracted over 16,000 people this past year.  Ms. Ianno also leads the Arts Council’s advocacy efforts for space and resources – including managing the projects of the Arts Space Task Force.  Previously, Ms. Ianno managed the operations of the BC Bands Program, administering the travel, budget, and inventory of six ensembles, as well as producing all concerts and events related to the program.

An accomplished pianist, Ms. Ianno has accompanied numerous musicals, choirs, and individuals for more than two decades; she is currently an accompanist for both the Kids Choir and Parish Choir at St. Linus Catholic Church in Natick.

In the community, Ms. Ianno served for six years on the Natick Cultural Council (a local chapter of the Massachusetts Cultural Council) – four of those years as Chair.  She is also an active volunteer at The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) as well as a former Board member and former Chair of the Development Committee.

Ms. Ianno received her B.A. in Psychology and Management from Boston College in 1989, and her M.B.A. from Boston College in 1996 – qualifying her as an official “double eagle.”

Ms. Ianno lives in Natick with her daughter, Abigail.
