I joined the Office of AHANA Student Programs in November of 2006 as Associate Director. Prior to this position, I served as the Assistant Director of Diversity Resources and Career Counseling at the Boston College Career Center.
My major responsibilities include working with the Director to provide overall leadership in carrying out the operational functions of the office, coordinating the Benjamin Mays Mentoring Program, serving as counselor/advisor to a selected group of third and fourth year students, and implementing programs around issues of diversity and leadership. I also serve as the office's liaison to the Career Center, the Office of International Programs and several student organizations.
A native of the Boston area, my educational background includes undergraduate studies at Northeastern and Hampton Universities, culminating in a Master of Science degree in Communications Management from Simmons College.
I look forward to working with you and identifying ways that this office can help make your time at BC, and your transition from BC a success.
