I have been Director of the Office of Thea Bowman AHANA and Intercultural Center since February 2006. In that capacity I am responsible to develop and oversee the operations of the Office and to play a primary role of ensuring that AHANA students take advantage of the excellent resources available at the university. In particular, I manage the overall operations and budget of the Program, and oversee the array of academic and social support services specifically addressing the needs of the AHANA population.
I joined Boston College in June 2002 as Associate Director of the Office. Before joining Boston College I was the Undergraduate Program Director in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
My academic background includes a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston, a master's degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and a bachelor's in Modern Languages from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia.
I look forward to working with all you to ensure that you have an excellent experience at Boston College!
