Alcohol and Drug Education Program

The Alcohol and Drug Education Program utilizes a comprehensive approach to addressing alcohol and other drug-related problems at Boston College and in the surrounding community. We encourage the university community to join with us through task forces and coalitions to employ multiple strategies including: 

  • providing education
  • changing the normative environment
  • promoting alcohol-free social options
  • reducing alcohol availability
  • developing alcohol policies and increasing the consistency of enforcement
  • reducing the marketing of alcohol
  • conducting early intervention
  • providing treatment

AlcoholEdu - Attention Freshmen!student
The online course, AlcoholEdu for College, must be completed between August 3rd and August 24th. Students will receive a message in their campus email accounts during the first week of August.
