Diane Baden, Head of Monographic Services, O'Neill Library
Diane won the New England Technical Services Librarians (NETSL) Award for Excellence in Library Technical Services at the NETSL Conference on April 11, 2014. She was nominated for the award by her O'Neill Library colleagues.

Adeane Bregman, Bapst Art Librarian
Adeane presented a poster, "#findthosepagodas: lessons learned" at the ARLIS/NA Conference in Washington DC on 3 May, 2014.

Margaret M. Cohen, Head Librarian, Educational Resource Center
Margaret has been chosen to attend the Leading Change Institute in Washington,  DC in June. 

Steve Dalton, Collection Development/Reference Librarian, Theology and Ministry Library
Steve served on the planning team of the Digital Commonwealth's eighth annual conference, Practically Digital: Doing What It Takes, which was held 8 April, 2014 at the University of the Holy Cross.

Barbara Adams Hebard, Conservator, John J. Burns Library
Barbara published a review of Limp Bindings from the Vatican Library for the Guild of Book Workers Newsletter. Her newly designed copy of Father Francis W. Sweeney's book, It will take a Lifetime, is in the exhibition Geographies: New England Book Work.  The exhibition will travel to: The Rhode Island School of Design, University of Vermont, Williams College, and Dartmouth College. In addition, another book designed by Barbara will be in the North Bennet Street School Juried Show of Graduate Work in May 2014.

Barbara attended the workshop Big Data & You: Preparing Current and Future Information Specialists, January 14, 2014  NEASIST , Simmons ASIST sponsors at MIT.

Emily Toner, eScholarship Repository Librarian
Emily served as a member of the Institutional Repositories Best Practices Workgroup of the Boston Library Consortium, developing a self-evaluation tool for documenting IR best practices within the BLC community.
