Connell students awarded scholarships at NAPNAP conference

Rebecka Evans MS'08 received the Reckitt Benckiser Student Scholarship and Karina Newinsky MS'08 received the NAPNAP/McNeil Scholarship at the recent National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Annual Conference in Nashville.

Barbara Wolfe chosen as work group member to develop DSM-V

Barbara Wolfe, professor and director of the Center for Nursing Research, has been selected by the American Psychiatric Association to serve as a work group member to help develop the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V), the foremost manual used worldwide by psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to diagnose mental disorders.   more »

Boston College has named Susan Gennaro, the Florence and William Downs Professor in Nursing Research in the College of Nursing at New York University, the next dean of the William F. Connell School of Nursing.   more »

Olivieri and Stockbridge recognized for innovative teaching methods

Rita Olivieri, associate professor of adult health nursing, and Jennifer Stockbridge, community health clinical instructor, were awarded the Academic Innovative Teaching Award from the Massachusetts Association of Colleges of Nursing (MACN).   more »
