NEWS AND INFORMATION

NEW! December 2008 Loan Exit Interview Process
All students who are planning to graduate in December 2008 and have borrowed Stafford, Graduate PLUS, Perkins, Law, Sharp, Bank of America, or Nursing loans while attending Boston College must complete an Exit Interview prior to leaving the college.

ECSI, the Boston College loan servicer, will email instructions on how to complete your online exit interview.

Failure to complete the exit interview process will result in a hold on your transcript and diploma.

If you have questions or concerns, call the Office of Student Services at 617-552-3300 or toll free at 800-294-0294 and ask to speak with a member of the loan staff.

NEW! Due to recent changes in the student loan industry, some lenders have suspended their participation in the FFELP process. If your prior Stafford Loan lender no longer participates, you will be required to complete a new MPN and choose a new lender. We will be sending notification to all affected students in the coming weeks.

The Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option helps you afford education expenses, and Boston College is pleased to make the services of Tuition Management Systems (TMS) available to you and your family. For more information, call the Counseling Line, toll-free, at 888-216-4258.
