Appeals can be considered if there are significant and/or unforeseen changes in circumstances that affect your ability to contribute to college costs. If you believe that important financial information was not included in your original application materials or may not have been considered when your application was reviewed, you may appeal your financial aid award.
Examples of circumstances that cannot be considered in an appeal include high credit debt, car payments, mortgage payments, wedding expenses, vacations or other discretionary expenses.
Appeal Process
Appeals cannot be considered until student and parent 2006 income has been verified. If you have not already done so, provide signed copies of your and your parents' 2006 federal tax return (including all schedules and W-2 forms) with your appeal.
Please read the appeal instructions carefully before appealing. Submitting an incomplete appeal form can delay the processing of your appeal.
