Galbraith Sophomores, Juniors	Any academic field relevant to issues of public policy and social inequality. Supports a one-week summer program at Harvard University on issues of inequality.	May 1	Get application information from BC Coordinator.
Gilman Sophomores, Juniors, Pell Grant recipients	Any academic field. Supports up to a year of study abroad in any eligible country.	October 1 and March 15	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator.
Goldwater Sophomores, Juniors	Mathematics or Natural Sciences. Supports undergraduate study at BC.	January 1	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator, for review by the BC Nominating Committee.
Harriman Foreign Service Fellowship Juniors, Seniors	Any academic major leading to a career in international affairs. Supports an internship with the U.S. State Department, in Washington DC or abroad.	November 1	Get application information from BC Coordinator.
Houston Traveling AHANA Sophomores, Juniors	Any academic field. Supports domestic or international travel, for research or study.	February 1	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator.
IIPP Fellowship Sophomores, especially AHANA students	Any academic major leading to a career in international affairs. Provides summer institutes, study abroad, internships, and graduate study.	March 10	Get application information from BC Coordinator.
NSEP / Boren Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors	Any academic field. Supports study abroad for up to a year, studying the language and culture of a non-Western country.	January 1	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator, for review by BC Nominating Committee.
Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship Sophomores	Any academic major leading to a career in the U.S. Foreign Service. Supports undergraduate study at BC and subsequent graduate study.	February 1	Get application information from BC Coordinator.
Rotary	Any academic field. Supports undergraduate study abroad in any country where there is a Rotary Club.	Six months to one year in advance of overseas study.	Applications are obtained from, and submitted to your hometown Rotary Club. Consult BC Coordinator for the Rotary, or your hometown Rotary Club. Deadlines vary among Rotary Clubs, so contact for information early.
Truman Juniors	Any academic major leading to a career in government or public service. Supports undergraduate study at BC and subsequent graduate study.	November 1	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator, for review by the BC Nominating Committee.
Udall Sophomores, Juniors	Environmental public policy, or health care and Native American tribal policy. Supports undergraduate study at BC.	March 1	Get application information from, and submit application to BC Coordinator, for review by BC Nominating Committee.
Boston College Undergraduate Research Fellowships	Any academic field. Supports undergraduates who assist a BC faculty member in faculty research, during the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester.	Usually early September, December, and March. Further details	Formal application must be made by the faculty member who will direct the research. Get application information from BC Coordinator, and contact Departmental Fellowships Sponsor in your major.
Boston College Advanced Study Grants Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors	Any academic field. Supports student-designed research or language skills acquisition projects during the summer.	January 15 nominations invited; March 10 applications due	Contact Departmental Fellowships Sponsor in your major. Applicants must be nominated by a faculty advisor. Invitations to submit proposals will be sent to all nominated students by BC Coordinator.
