Accessibility Issues: Keeping the physically disabled in mind
- The blind rely on applications that read the text to them
- Links should be descriptive such that if the application lists the link apart from the text, the link is still intelligible
- All graphics should be accompanied by alternate text, so remember the ALT attribute in the <IMG SRC> tag
- Forms should be accompanied by alternative ways of submitting information (e-mail address and telephone number)
- The color blind must be kept in mind if you decide to change your background color and text color
- The deaf must be kept in mind if you include audio files
