- "BGCOLOR=" controls the background color
- "TEXT=" controls the color of the text
- "LINK=" controls the color of links that have not been visited
- "VLINK=" controls the color of visited links
Expressed as an RGB value
- Consists of a combination of six letters and/or numbers
- Can create thousands of different colors
