Concentration; elective for others.
This course focuses on basic financial management for social work practitioners,
and the marshalling and use of financial resources in a human service or
not-for-profit environment. Topics covered include financial management,
resource development, the use of technology, budgeting, and accounting.
The implications of agency financing for social and economic justice, improving
the status of diverse and at-risk populations in the context of social work
values and ethics are also discussed.
